Who can apply:

  • Doctors who have completed post graduate medical education in the UK or overseas
  • Doctors with or without GMC registration
  • Doctors who have taken the PLAB, FRCS, MRCP or other qualifying medicalexaminations
  • Doctors with European medical qualification
  • Doctors who intend to apply for post-graduate training in the UK
  • Specialist or non-specialist doctors practising anywhere around the world

Overview

Doctors without GMC registration, who have completed undergraduate medical training and eligible internship overseas, take either the English language proficiency test IELTS or OET. Once a minimum average score of 7.5 overall or 7 in all 4 categories is obtained in the IELTS or Grade B or higher in the OET, doctors can apply for the PLAB1 and PLAB2. PLAB1 can be taken in their home country or in the UK, while PLAB2 can only be taken in the UK after the candidate passes the PLAB1. After clearing PLAB2, doctors apply for a GMC registration.

Doctors who have overseas postgraduate qualification and experience can also apply through a sponsorship route by taking exams like MRCP, FRCS and others. The sponsorship certificate obtained by clearing these exams may be used to apply for GMC registration. However, medical graduates from the UK, doctors with relevant European qualification and doctors with acceptable overseas postgraduate qualification can directly apply for full GMC registration.

Once registered with the GMC, doctors can apply for training or non training posts based on their preference of career. Specialist doctors from overseas who do not wish to enter training can either work in their respective fields at available vacant posts they are eligible for or opt for an alternative pathway to enter the specialist register such as CESR pathway (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration).

We are here to help you with:

  • Verifying your medical credentials and documents related to work experience
  • Taking the English language proficiency test
  • Taking the necessary tests and establishing proof of knowledge and skills
  • Obtaining a GMC registration
  • Landing your dream job
  • All the necessary paperwork
  • Getting visa sponsorship without any stress
  • Hassle-free move to the UK for you and your family

Our Role:

Once you apply with us, we will look into your credentials, experience and relevant certifications and direct you towards the necessary steps that are required to get you a job in the UK healthcare system.

We will assist you right from the initial steps of getting your primary medical qualification verified till you move to the UK with a job of your choice.

Doctors already holding a GMC registration will be placed in suitable posts either in one of our multispeciality hospitals or will be assisted in finding a job with the NHS.

Doctors who are yet to be registered with the GMC will be assisted in obtaining registration based on the most appropriate route for the doctor.

Once the GMC registration is obtained, we will proceed with hospital placement.

Doctors who intend to work in non-training posts can continue to work with us, while those who wish to go into training, can stay with us and accumulate experience and improve their portfolio till they get into training.

We work with the NHS

The National Health Service (NHS) in the UK ensures universal healthcare. The NHS is one of the world’s greatest, safest, and most inexpensive healthcare systems. Although the NHS employs many British/UK nationals, certified experts from around the world work there.

Aside from the professional competency baseline, these experts are subjected to severe requirements specified by the NMC UK.

The NHS was founded in 1948 on the belief that adequate healthcare should be offered to everybody regardless of wealth.

Except for prescriptions, optical treatments, and dental care, the NHS in England is free to all UK residents.

It sees about a million patients every 36 hours.

The NHS was rated the best healthcare system in the world by the Commonwealth Fund in 2014. This included efficiency, effectiveness, safety, coordination and patient-centred treatment

2nd Largest Healthcare system

2nd Largest Healthcare system

The National Health Service is the publicly funded healthcare system in England, and one of the four National Health Service systems in the United Kingdom.

It is the second largest single-payer healthcare system in the world after the Brazilian Sistema Único de Saúde.

Pay Scale

Pay Scale

This pay system covers all staff except doctors, dentists, and very senior managers. Each of the nine pay bands has a number of pay points.

Staff will normally progress to the next pay point annually until they reach the top of the pay band. In addition to basic pay, there is also extra pay for staff who works in high-cost areas such as around London.
